Executive COACHING

My approach to Executive Coaching builds on my background as an award-winning teacher, mentor, and scholar. Creative Leadership Executive Coaching supports people who have achieved many of their initial goals and still desire to grow. I provide a sounding board about how to strategize relative to your current responsibilities. I also open ways to consider opening up a new chapter of your life oriented to personal growth and fulfillment.

Welcome!

I’m glad you’re here.

I’m an executive coach, Certified Mediator, and internationally respected speaker.

I’m the founder of the Healthy Relationship Academy, which partners with businesses and organizations to create healthy workplace cultures by leveraging the power of good relationships.

I’m also the Director of Research and Program Development for the Institute for Trauma Informed Relationships which provides certification in trauma informed relationships for therapists, coaches, and other helping professionals.

In 2020, I co-founded Alchemy of Love with Angela Amias, LCSW, to provide resources, support, and education on relationships and the impact of trauma. Through our articles, podcast, and classes, Alchemy of Love has reached a worldwide audience of over 100,000 individuals and couples.

My early desire to understand what makes life meaningful led to earning a Ph.D. in Religious Studies and a second Ph.D. in English. I’m currently enrolled in a third Ph.D. program, furthering my foundation in Depth Psychology.

I’ve authored and edited five books and a number of research articles. If you’d like to know more about my academic work, you can check out my C.V.

What to expect with executive coaching

The combination of Dr. Boscaljon’s natural compassion and professional training has, time and again, helped me get out of my own way, evaluate competing paths, and formulate successful strategies for moving forward. His approach marries the techniques of a counselor with the most authentic and encouraging practices of a life coach: listening and nurturing while also always pushing me to go deeper and to never settle. Like going to the gym, the results of working with Dr. Boscaljon are cumulative; they accrue over time such that, looking back, I can say without hesitation that I would not have gotten where I am in my career and my personal life without him.

Working with Daniel ranks among the most truly transformative experiences I’ve undertaken for personal growth in my adult life (and I’ve undertaken plenty). Daniel has a wide- ranging intellect, a big heart, and penetrating authenticity, which, combined, produce genuine wisdom. Moreover, he’s honed the art of creating an alchemical space where real change can take place. Time and again in our conversations he said exactly what I needed to hear in exactly the way I needed to hear it, and in between those moments there were equally valuable moments of healing, vulnerable silence. Over a month later I’m still integrating the insights gleaned from our sessions, and I expect I’ll be doing so for years to come.

Daniel and I created a unique healing process, a container that holds past trauma, present experience, and future goals. Week-in and week-out he has been a stable, reliable, and wise presence in my life, which has allowed me to uncover and integrate different parts of my psyche. I have grown tremendously through my working relationship with Daniel. He's a special fellow and I cannot recommend his services more highly. If you are ready for the journey towards deep exploration, self-actualization, and soul-craft Daniel is a most worthy guide.

get CERTIFIED in TRAUMA INFORMED RELATIONSHIPs

Trauma informed care is the wave of the future. Having a deep and nuanced understanding of how relational trauma impacts adult relationships is a vital part of providing the best possible care to your clients. Whether you work with couples, individuals, or both, having a truly trauma informed approach to relationship issues is essential. Painful experiences from childhood exert a powerful influence on adult intimate relationships, creating the difficulties, dissatisfaction, and disconnection that so many clients encounter in their intimate relationships.

Angela Amias and I developed the Institute for Trauma Informed Relationships to bridge the gap between cutting edge research on relational trauma and traditional models for relationship counseling. It’s the first comprehensive relationship counseling model that integrates a trauma informed approach to help both individuals and couples overcome relationship struggles and create more satisfying connections.
