About Daniel Boscaljon

about dr. daniel boscaljon

Daniel Boscaljon is an internationally respected author, scholar, and teacher. His quest for understanding how to find happiness by pursuing a meaningful life led him to working on a third PhD, in Depth Psychology. This informs his approach to executive coaching that focuses on personal growth in the second half of life.

His work at the Healthy Relationship Academy is the culmination of a long career as an educator. Daniel spent 28 years providing award winning educational experiences to students in a number of public and private institutions. Based on his interest in expanding thoughtful and heartfelt opportunities for continuing adult education, Daniel founded two non-profit organizations dedicated to adult education. His passion for teaching is clearly conveyed when he presents as a speaker or delivers training for organizations.

Along with his wife Angela Amias LCSW, Daniel created Alchemy of Love, which offers trauma-informed relationship programs and guidance for individuals and couples. They also co-created the Institute for Trauma Informed Relationships, where he serves as the Director of Research and Program Development.

He also continues to work as a researcher and academic reviewer as a contributing editor of the Oxford Journal of Literature and Theology. Daniel’s CV has more information about his academic teaching and publishing career. Born in California and raised in Iowa, Daniel now happily makes his home in the wilds of Wyoming.

My Best Teachers have been Questions

The right question transforms the world by unlocking its hidden potential.

What do you do when you’ve successfully met your goals… and nobody’s told you what comes next?

What does it mean when you’re doing everything right… but it all seems to be going wrong?

How do you move forward when your life explodes…even the parts that felt secure?

Where can you get answers when you sense something big… stirring just beneath the surface of your life?

I’ve spent my lifetime exploring these questions.

We grow restless when our lives lose their sense of challenge and feel too small. Rather than repeating this pattern by finding a new house, lover, or career, consider whether you feel called to a different set of challenges, those involved in what psychologists call the second half of life.

Asking the right question allows you to transform your life. I help you transition from replaying the hero in a familiar journey to exploring an untold story—yours.
